Plavio ("the app") is a free, open-source media player for Android. This policy explains what data the app collects and how it is used. In short: your library, settings, and watch history stay on your device.
The app uses Firebase Crashlytics to collect anonymous crash reports (device model, Android version, and the technical details of a crash) so bugs can be fixed. Crash reports contain no media titles, no browsing history, and nothing that identifies you personally.
The app uses Firebase Analytics to understand aggregate usage (for example, how many people open the app each day). This data is anonymous and is not sold or shared with advertisers.
Plavio has no user accounts and asks for no name, email, or personal details. Optional Trakt/Simkl sync, if you enable it, is handled directly between the app and those services under their own policies.
Plavio is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
